Welcome to the University of Sheffield's India 2020 blog! We are a group of 18 student teachers from a variety of different subjects including: Geography, English, Science, History, and Languages. In February, we are travelling to Bangalore in Southern India. We hope to raise valuable funds for the local school and orphanage. We will also be volunteering, and hoping to gain a valuable new experience too!
We began our fundraising journey by channelling our inner Mary Berry, and organised a successful bake, and coffee sale! We would like to thank everyone for buying a scrumptious cake, we hope you enjoyed them! We managed to raise £218; an incredible amount for a worthwhile cause!
